Install the Asta player app

Asta runs on Android media players and Android screens today.

1. Copy the Asta app file to the player, for example on a USB drive, and tap it to start installing.
2. If Android asks about installing from unknown sources, allow it and tap Continue.
3. Tap Install, then Open when it finishes.

Permissions

On some players, Asta gets every permission it needs when it installs. On others, open Settings, then Apps, then Special app access, and allow these for Asta:

• Modify system settings, so Asta can change brightness and volume.
• Display over other apps, so Asta stays on screen.
• Photos and media, so Asta can store the files it plays.

The app opens on the pair code page. Keep it there and pair the screen.
